Return Policy

At Tickito, we strive to provide an exceptional ticketing experience for all our valued customers. We understand that sometimes circumstances may arise that could lead to the cancellation or rescheduling of an event. This Return Policy outlines the guidelines and procedures for requesting refunds in such situations.

  1. Event Promoter Responsibility: Each event promoter is solely responsible for ensuring that the scheduled event takes place as planned. This includes managing event logistics, safety, and adhering to all applicable laws and regulations. Tickito acts as an intermediary between the customers and the event promoters, facilitating the ticketing process. However, we do not control the actual execution of the event.

  2. Cancellation or Rescheduling: In the unfortunate event of an event cancellation or significant rescheduling, Tickito will work closely with the event promoter to communicate the changes to all affected customers in a timely and efficient manner.

  3. Refunds Process: a) Refunds before Payment to Event Promoter: If the cancellation occurs before Tickito has transferred the ticket proceeds to the event promoter, we will initiate a refund to the original payment method used for purchasing the tickets. The refund will cover the full ticket face value and any applicable service fees, but not any non-refundable fees that may be levied by third-party payment processors.

    b) Refunds after Payment to Event Promoter: If the ticket proceeds have already been paid to the event promoter before the cancellation, we will attempt to negotiate with the promoter on behalf of the customers to secure refunds. However, it is essential to note that Tickito cannot guarantee the success of such negotiations, as the event promoter’s refund policies and contractual agreements will come into play.

  4. Refunds Eligibility: To be eligible for a refund under this Return Policy, customers must have purchased their tickets directly through the Tickito platform. Tickets bought through third-party resellers or platforms will not be eligible for refunds through Tickito. Additionally, customers must follow the refund request procedure outlined below.

  5. Refund Request Procedure: a) Customers seeking refunds must contact Tickito customer support within 30 days of the event cancellation or rescheduling announcement.

    b) Customers must provide their order details, including the order number, ticket holder’s name, and email address used for the purchase, along with a brief explanation of the refund request.

    c) Tickito customer support will verify the eligibility of the refund request and initiate the refund process as applicable.

  6. Refund Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 business days after the eligibility of the request is confirmed. The time it takes for the refund to reflect in the customer’s account may vary depending on the payment method and financial institution.

  7. Force Majeure Events: In some cases, events may be canceled or rescheduled due to force majeure events, such as natural disasters, government regulations, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond anyone’s control. In such situations, Tickito will not be responsible for refunds or compensations.

  8. Changes to Return Policy: Tickito reserves the right to modify or update this Return Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website, and customers are encouraged to review this policy regularly.

  9. Contact Information: For any questions or concerns regarding our Return Policy or refund requests, customers can reach out to Tickito customer support at tickito@thevoicebw.com or call our helpline at (+267) 7191 6319.

This Return Policy is effective as of 1st July 2023 and applies to all ticket purchases made through the Tickito platform. By using our services, customers agree to adhere to this policy and its terms and conditions.

How To Buy

As a customer, you can buy a ticket online and pay using real-time online payments (VISA, Mastercard), or using offline payments (Pay2Cell, Bank transfer, eWallet, Orange money, MyZaka, Smega etc). Upon confirmation of payment receipt, a ticket with a QR code is sent via email, SMS and/or Whatsapp.

How To Use

The QR code(s) should be brought to the event for quick scanning. If you have added products with the entrance ticket, you will receive numerous QR codes.

You can print the QR codes and bring them along with you, or you can show your codes directly from your phone.

The QR code should be presented to a marshal with a scanning device, and if it has not been used, you will be given the service.

How To Sell

If you are an event promoter or corporate and require a platform which can manage your check-ins for entrance tickets and/or add-on products, you may want to use The Voice Tickito.
